Ryan was admitted as an Australian Lawyer in 2016, following his graduation of a Bachelor of Laws with Honours and a Bachelor of Criminology at Deakin University. He also holds a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from the Leo Cussen Centre for Law.
Ryan is a skilled and talented advocate. Following his admission, Ryan practiced for years in a busy regional criminal law firm, managing a high volume of clients from various backgrounds and appearing almost daily in Victorian courts.
Constant exposure to the cut and thrust of the court has given Ryan a keen eye for detail and an ability to think quickly on his feet.
There isn’t a matter that Ryan hasn’t handled in the Magistrates’ Court, ranging from contested bail applications, pleas of guilty, contested hearings, contest mentions through to intervention orders. He has developed considerable experience in a wide range of criminal law matters including intervention order proceedings and more serious criminal matters listed in the committal stream.
With 5 year post admission experience, Ryan is an experienced advocate who takes it as a point of pride to achieve the best possible outcomes for his clients every time.
