Prior to her admission to practice, Jess worked as a Court Officer in the Magistrates Court of Victoria, where she was exposed to and assisted in, all facets of the Court, particularly criminal law proceedings. This experience also provided her with invaluable insight and knowledge of the practices and procedures of the Magistrates Court in Victoria.
Following her admission, Jess worked for a Community Legal Centre where she developed her strong advocacy skills, particularly in representing clients in Family Violence Intervention Order hearings.
Jess passionately believes that everyone deserves the right to a fair hearing and her commitment to her clients can be seen in her courtroom presence and persuasive advocacy, where she subscribes to the commitment to seek to obtain the best possible outcome for her clients.
